Influencé par la peinture classique mais aussi par l'imagerie populaire et l'illustration fantastique, l'art de Benjamin CLAUDEL,
un pied dans le réel et l'autre dans l'imaginaire, nous entraîne dans des compositions poétiques traitées le plus souvent de façon graphique à la plume et au crayon.

Parfois oniriques, parfois symboliques, à la limite du surréalisme, les thèmes abordés sont centrés autour de
la figure féminine, de la rêverie et de l'introspection.

Influenced by classical painting but also by popular imagery and heroic fantasy, the art of B. C. with one foot in reality, another foot drifting towards imaginary landscapes, involves us in colorful and poetical compositions using diverse techniques: oil painting and acrylic resin on fabric and wood panels, or, in a more graphical manner, with feather or pencil.

Sometimes touching the realm of dreams and symbols, sometimes on the verge of surrealism, the topics B. C. approaches are centered on the female figure, the daydream and introspection.
